With the current emphasis on “Pharmacy First” before attending a GP, never has it been more important for Pharmacy Technicians and the OTC Pharmacy Team, to be up-to-date and competent in appraising customer and patient ailments and general health queries.
In support of this changed community pharmacy landscape, the IPU has developed a CPD Yearly Subscription which gives unlimited access to a suite of CPD short eLearning courses. The courses have been designed and developed by pharmacists and built to the highest educational quality standards. And now, never has it been easier to access CPD for Pharmacy Technicians and the OTC Pharmacy Team 24/7/365!
The cost of the Yearly Subscription 2024 is €139 for learners working for IPU Members, and €199 for learners working for non-IPU members. This will give the learner the opportunity to study the entire suite of CPD courses at their own pace over a 12-month period. The Yearly Subscription starts on enrolment day and lasts for 12 months.
The courses are available in an eLearning format. Each course is highly interactive with onscreen content, learner activities, diagrams, videos, quizzes etc., as well as a Voice Over to guide the learner through the onscreen content. There are also website links and additional resources for further study. At the end of each course, there is an assessment, once successfully passed a certificate of completion is issued directly via email.
