European Antibiotic Awareness Day (EAAD) is on 18 November. It is an annual public health initiative that highlights the growing threat of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and the importance of using antibiotics responsibly. In this month’s IPU Review, the HSE’s Antimicrobial Resistance and Infection Control Team and the IPU have included a letter on how community pharmacy can support EAAD, and a poster on EAAD.
