The presence of the Minister for Health, Jennifer Carroll MacNeill TD, at the IPU Conference 2026 on 9 May at Mount Wolseley Hotel, Carlow, was mentioned on several radio stations, including 98FM, C103, KFM, Newstalk, Radio Nova, Red FM, and more. They highlighted the Minister’s announcement of the recruitment of a Chief Pharmaceutical Officer (CPO).
IPU Head of Professional Services, Susan O’ Dwyer, was quoted in several regional papers supporting, on behalf of the IPU, the ‘Before Damage is Done’ campaign by the Irish Heart Foundation to drive public awareness about the damage caused by high blood pressure.
