The National Institute for Prevention and Cardiovascular Health (NIPC) published a position paper last year on the case for cardiovascular disease prevention in Ireland. The report made several recommendations on how to reduce the impact of heart disease and stroke. Based on the recommendations of the NIPC position paper, Croí has identified five key asks for national policy makers. The aim of the roundtable meeting was to discuss the calls, bring together perspectives from across Irish society and determine how best to drive action through engagement with policymakers.
