Who We Are

Membership is available to all registered and dispensing chemists and registered druggists,

who are registered as community pharmacists with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland.

The IPU is the professional representative organisation for community pharmacists, with a membership of approximately 2,200 pharmacists working in more than 1,800 community pharmacies throughout the country. In their role as trusted healthcare professionals in the community, members of the IPU aim to provide the best possible care for patients and the public.

The IPU Review is an essential source of news and advice on business and professional issues for individuals working in the community pharmacy sector including developing and growing a pharmacy business, financial advice, continuing professional development and product information.
