What is the IPU Website Members’ Section login?
The IPU Website Members’ Section login is the functionality that allows the IPU to securely provide members exclusive access to community pharmacy content, advice and important updates.
· Public Site: Without logging in, visitors can view a few pages on the Public Site. Members Site: After logging in, members are redirected to the Members’ Site, where they can access news and publications available only to IPU members.
Why is the login for IPU Members changing?
This change is part of ongoing upgrades and security enhancements to the members’ section of the IPU website. It will also facilitate access to current and upcoming platforms that the IPU is creating for members. Once completed, members will be able to access other IPU platforms using the same login details.
When will this change be applied?
The change will take place on Tuesday 16 July. From this date onwards, you will need to use your email address instead of your existing username to log in. If you experience issues logging in, refer to this FAQ or contact membership@ipu.ie for guidance.
Which email address should I use to access the IPU website members section?
From the 16 July, you will be using your email address as your username to login to the website instead of your existing username.
The email address you should use is the address to which you are receiving IPU communications currently. At the end of June, we will send an email to each member with their login details. If you would like to amend this email, please contact membership@ipu.ie to update your email information
Will my access password be the same?
If you haven’t changed your password since you received your login details, your password remains the same. Later this month login information (including passwords) will be sent to all members via email. If you don’t currently receive email communications from the IPU, please email membership@ipu.ie to update your email.
Who should I contact if my access is not working?
If you experience any issues when logging into the website after 16 July, please try the “Forgot Password” feature first. If this does not resolve the issue, email membership@ipu.ie with your full name and new email address information.
Will members be able to change their contact details?
With the new member’s login, you will be able to update your contact information.
When you log into the IPU Website, you’ll see a “My Account” button at the top-right corner of the screen. Clicking on this button will allow you to review and submit any changes to your contact information.
Will members be able to change their password?
Yes, if you forget your password or it’s not working, you can use the “Forgot Password” feature on the login page to reset it. Your password can also be changed by going to “My Account” button at the top-right corner of the website and clicking on the “Change Password” button on the left side of the screen.
Will members be able to log in to other IPU Platforms with the same log in?
Yes, after the member’s access login has been upgraded, members will be able to navigate through other IPU platforms, such as the IPU Professional Academy and the upcoming Jobs Portal, without having to sign in again.
