Uniflu has been restocked in Ireland, as cold and flu season hits. Uniflu say their “five active ingredient formula is designed to work together, providing complete relief from cold and flu symptoms”. Uniflu includes both a film-coated tablet targeting flu symptoms and a chewable Vitamin C tablet for immune support.

Active ingredients and benefits for the Uniflu film-coated tablet include:

• Caffeine (30mg): Stimulant, enhances the pain-relieving effects of paracetamol and reduces drowsiness improving alertness;
• Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride (15mg): Antihistamine which alleviates symptoms of allergies such as sneezing, running nose and itching;
• Paracetamol (500mg): Analgestic and antipyretic, relieves headaches, muscle aches and fever; and
• Phenylephrine Hydrochloride (10mg): Decongestant, relieves nasal congestions helps clear sinuses for easier breathing.

The Vitamin C tablet aims to work as an antioxidant and immune booster.

Uniflu is indicated for: Nasal and sinus congestion; headache; fever; aching limbs; coughing; and runny nose. Vitamin C acts as a vitamin supplement to support immunity during cold and flu infections.
