Home » Pharmacy Regulator recruiting for Disciplinary Committees and focus groups
The PSI, the pharmacy regulator, is asking pharmacists to participate in focus groups and to consider applying for the role of Chair of its Disciplinary Committees. Closing dates for both are in the first week of July. The focus groups are online, and are part of the regulator’s project to review the continuing professional development (CPD) model for pharmacists. The focus groups look to hear from a broad range of pharmacists, who work in different areas of practice, to gather their feedback and experiences on the current CPD system, and to make suggestions on changes to be considered. Pharmacists are asked to sign-up by 3 July.
The regulator is also inviting applications for the role of Chair for each of its three Disciplinary Committees. The Committees consider complaints about registered pharmacists or pharmacies, and both pharmacists and non-pharmacists can apply. Closing date for applications is 7 July. Further information can be found on both processes on the PSI website, psi.ie.
