Home » IPU offers condolences on the passing of Dominique Jordan, President of FIP
IPU Secretary General (Acting) Derek Reilly has offered condolences on behalf of the IPU following the passing of Dominique Jordan, President of FIP. The IPU is a member of FIP, which is the International Pharmaceutical Federation, and Mr Jordan has been President of FIP since 2018. A Swiss community pharmacist, Mr Jordan was previously both president and CEO of pharmaSuisse (the Swiss association of pharmacists).
FIP CEO Catherine Duggan said; “Dominique was an exceptional advocate for our pharmacy profession and dedicated to advancing pharmacy in every country. He was convinced that FIP was the platform by which this could be achieved. During his presidency, he led our Federation through the global crisis of COVID-19 and introduced the vision of ‘One FIP’, which resulted in greater collaboration between the many constituencies within our organisation and increased engagement with our members.”
In accordance with the FIP Statutes, president-elect Paul Sinclair will now perform the duties of President. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
