The ‘Medicines Experts’ campaign, featured across national and regional radio, and delivered a clear message that pharmacists are trusted medicines experts, ready to offer personalised advice and support for safe, effective medication use. The campaign’s creative, developed by Bonfire, encouraged the public to consult their pharmacist with their medicine queries. In addition to the radio coverage, this was supported by an extensive social media campaign across Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Snapchat, and TikTok, utilising the new pharmacy cross designs. Outdoor digital posters were used for the first time by the IPU to further support the campaign in the key population centres of Dublin, Cork and Galway. This provided consumers with the opportunity to see the new campaign while outdoors, in the vicinity of pharmacies.
