Home » HealthTech Ireland and the HSE announce partnership
The HSE and HealthTech Ireland signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to build and formalise their ongoing collaborations. This will include examining how best to use existing and emerging products and solutions such as AI and other innovative pathways, to improve patient outcomes, increase efficiencies, and meet the challenges faced across the health service.
The MOU articulates that progress will be made through formalised arrangements with representatives from the HSE and representatives from HealthTech Ireland, as the trade association representing industry, including and not limited to medical and surgical devices, diagnostic, digital and mental health companies in Ireland. This is with the purpose of establishing regular, trusted engagement, education and specific initiatives of work, in addition to leveraging the knowledge of both parties. The scope of the MOU will also include improving patient outcomes both now and in the future using medical and surgical devices, diagnostics and digital health products, solutions and services.
