IPU AGM Overview
- The 2024 AGM of the IPU was held on Friday, April 26, 2024, marking the first time since 2019 that the AGM and the National Pharmacy Conference were held jointly. A total of 52 members attended the meeting. All finance-related motions were approved, and attendees received presentations of the Treasurer's Report, CPC Report, EPC Report, and PCC Report.
Incoming President
- Before the closing procedures of the AGM, Dermot Twomey passed the IPU President’s chain to Tom Murray, officially announcing him as President of the IPU. Mr Murray paid tribute to Mr Twomey and Vice-Chair, Ann Marie Horan for their contributions to the IPU. The new Standing Committee comprises of Mr Murray as President, alongside Caoimhe McAuley as Vice-President and John Brassil as Honorary Treasurer.
