Information given at time of campaign

The IPU is engaging in an ongoing Public Affairs Campaign and has met with several Ministers, TDs and Senators from across the political spectrum in recent months. The IPU has raised issues affecting pharmacists, including the unwinding of FEMPI, the need for a new pharmacy contract and investment in pharmacy services.

You will find a list of all Oireachtas Members here, and you can download our Message Sheet for Politicians below, in addition to our booklet Pharmacists: Healthcare at the heart of the community, which details our proposals on new services and outlines concerns pharmacists have.

All politics is local and the strongest part of the IPU is our membership base. It is important that we use our influence at a local level to ensure politicians understand that the issues affecting pharmacists are important and must be listened to. If you would like more information, please contact Jim Curran at jim.curran@ipu.ie or Siobhán Kane at siobhan.kane@ipu.ie, or call the IPU office on 01 493 6401.
