The FIP’s Community Pharmacy Section (CPS) has published a new report “Workforce sustainability and supporting positive practice in community pharmacy”. The report confirms that meeting the growing demands on health systems is having a significant impact on the well-being of all health professionals. It also identifies the changing roles of pharmacists, pressures on the supply chain and pharmacy staff shortages as sources of workplace stress. It explores the barriers and enablers related to sustaining current services, undertaking expanded services, pharmacists’ mental health and well-being, and positive practice environments.
