On 29 November we submitted to the Department of Health, our proposed structure which would facilitate addressing all of the items on our pay claim agenda while also facilitating the new services agenda of the HSE/Minister. This submission by us was made on the invitation of the Department and the Department indicated to us that it would be early in the New Year/January before they would revert to us. On 16 January we wrote to the Department the letter that you can find here.
We will continue to exert as much pressure as is appropriate to accelerate the process.
We understand that many of you may be feeling frustrated and would like immediate results, unfortunately, that is not how these processes work and we continue with our resolve to replicate the process that has been so successful for the GPs.
