Researchers from the School of Pharmacy at University College Cork are conducting a study to gain insights into the challenges and strategies related to medication shortages. This research is led by Minh Trang Dam (fourth-year pharmacy student), Aimee Coady (fourth-year pharmacy student) and Kirsten Otten (Master of Pharmacy Student), under the supervision of Edel Burton, Lecturer in Clinical Pharmacy.
The UCC research team are seeking pharmacists and technicians who have experience dealing with medication shortages. Your participation will involve a semi-structured interview, which will provide valuable information to help address this critical issue. The interview will take 40-60 minutes to complete. Participation is voluntary, and all responses will be kept confidential.
