The July edition of the Irish Pharmacist covered several topics involving the IPU. Clare Fitzell, IPU Head of Strategic Policy, was quoted about her election as PGEU President for 2025. IPU President, Tom Murray, was interviewed about the opportunities and challenges for pharmacy during his tenure. The Irish Pharmacist also reported that the IPU has welcomed the recently launched Digital Health Framework for Ireland 2024 – 2030 and has called for a nationwide Disposal of Unused Medicines Properly (DUMP) scheme to be established.
