Sinn Féin says it will empower pharmacists to write prescriptions under a minor ailments scheme if elected to power, according to the Irish Independent. IPU was also mentioned online in an article on  RTÉ about Sinn Féin outlining proposals to improve local GP and health services.

Kathy Maher, Chair of the IPU Pharmacy Contractor’s Committee, was quoted in an article about the measles vaccine in the Irish Examiner. The Irish Examiner also mentioned the IPU in an article about the Beyfortus RSV antibody treatment.
