There was further coverage on our media release warning the Minister that ‘Pharmacies are at ‘Tipping Point’ due to significant underinvestment, due to no fee increases in 15 years’. The item was covered by the Irish Independent, see here and the Evening Herald. Chair of the PCC Kathy Maher was also on the Last Word on Today FM discussing the same topic. There was also further regional media coverage on this issue.

IPU President Dermot Twomey appeared on RTE Radio News at One to discuss the impact of medicine shortages on pharmacies. Listen here. Dermot also appeared on the RTE TV news on Today FM’s the Last Word and was quoted in an article in the Irish Examiner, and extra.ie. The item was covered extensively on regional radio and included interviews with Jack Shanahan and James Geraghty. Kathy Maher was quoted on the same topic in an article in the Irish Dail Mail.
