Green/red antibiotic quality improvement initiative with GPs
HSE-AMRIC have recently shared issue 14 of the green/red antibiotic prescribing report (for GMS prescriptions) with over 3000 GPs. Key information accompanying the report is available here and focuses on the recent increase in viral infections, where no antibiotic may be required, as well as the use of amoxicillin as a preferred agent for respiratory tract infections.
