The PCRS has informed us of an error in the recoupment of duplicate Dental scheme claims process. Unfortunately, when the recoupment file was processed by their IT unit, the file loaded as a positive adjustment. This meant that amounts were paid out to the relevant pharmacies instead of being recouped, and 496 pharmacies have been overpaid as a result.
In order to correct this error PCRS have created a recoupment file to be included with the December 2023 claim payments which pharmacies are due to receive on 22 January 2024.
PCRS has apologised for any inconvenience this may have caused members.
