PCRS Contraception Portal Access

Pharmacy PMR vendor systems are currently in the process of fully integrating contraception scheme claiming which will negate the use of the PCRS contraception portal. If your PMR vendor system has the facility to support integration, once you agree to the PMR software upgrade to facilitate integrating claiming, you will only have access to the PCRS contraceptive portal for a further 48 hours. This is to reduce the risk of duplicate claims being sent to the PCRS for payment. It is therefore imperative that you are up to date with all your contraceptive claims through the PCRS contraceptive portal before accepting the PMR system update or plan this activity to coincide with your acceptance of the update.
