Operation Transformation

Today, Thursday 18 January, is National Blood Pressure Day. Thank you to all the pharmacies that participated, we have almost 700 pharmacies signed up. We would strongly urge participating pharmacies to complete the Data Tracking Survey for your pharmacy at the end of the day – this will take just 1 minute of your time. The data will be used in the next episode of Operation Transformation (OT) and in IPU Communications.

There is a tight deadline to complete the survey, as the data is required by Friday 19 January at 2pm for the Operation Transformation production team to report the results for the following programme. We are just looking for two items of topline data in the survey:

  1. The overall number of patients you provided a BP reading to in your pharmacy on the day; and
  2. The type of advice given, e.g. the topline number providing the following types of advice: Refer To GP, B. Urgent Referral to GP or C. Lifestyle advice.

Please submit your data through the link here at the end of the day.

A simple tracker sheet has also been created to record the number of patients seen on the day. This will assist you to complete the Data Tracking Survey outlined above. This tracking sheet can be downloaded here.

We have also updated the blood pressure record cards on the website here to help you when printing multiple copies. Please make sure to select the option ‘print on both sides’.
