We have almost 700 pharmacies participating in the Operation Transformation Blood Pressure Day on the 18 January 2024. We would like to thank all the pharmacies that have registered. The list of participating pharmacies can be accessed on the Operation Transformation website here.
Participating Pharmacies:
The IPU support pack should be with you by the end of this week. The pack will contain the following items:
- Two posters, one A3 and an A4 poster to display in your pharmacy to highlight ‘Operation Transformation National Blood Pressure Day’; and
- 30 BP cards to record the patient’s BP reading.
In addition, all items including promotion materials and SOPs can be downloaded from the website here. Also included on the website are versions of the materials with space for individual company logos to be included.
BP Tracking Data:
We would like to track the topline numbers and results of those tested to be included in the next episode of Operation Transformation. We would request that you track the following information and share the details with the IPU:
- The number of patients that received a BP reading in your pharmacy on the day; and
- The type of advice given – A. Refer To GP, B. Urgent Referral to GP or C. Lifestyle advice.
Please submit your data through the link here at the end of the day. This should take just 1 minute to complete. In order to get this data reviewed and analysed for the filming of the next episode of Operation Transformation we have a very tight deadline and would ask that you complete the data tracker through the link above by Friday 19 January at 2pm.
A simple tracker sheet has also been created to record the number of patient’s seen and to assist you with recording the overall data throughout the day and this can be used to complete the Data survey outlined above. This tracking sheet is included in the IPU support pack.
