Following on from successful campaigns in the past the IPU is once again teaming up with Operation Transformation in 2024. One of the episodes will promote Operation Transformation’s ‘National Blood Pressure Day’, which will take place on Thursday 18 January 2024. To highlight this key area, pharmacies around the country are invited to offer Blood Pressure Measurements to patients on that date. Where blood pressure measurement is offered as part of Operation Transformation’s ‘National Blood Pressure Day’ there should be no charge to the patient.
To register to participate please email your Pharmacy name and address to OperationTransformation@IPU.ie by Wednesday 20 December 2023 at the latest. Materials to support the initiative will then be shared with you in early January. The list of participating pharmacies will be included on the Operation Transformation website. Some pharmacies around the country may be selected for filming as part of the programme. Please note that the ‘National Blood Pressure Day’ campaign is not to be advertised until it has been officially launched by Operation Transformation and will be subject to advertising guidance to ensure the Operation Transformation logo is used appropriately.
