There have been changes in national legislation regarding the supply of prescription-only medicines to equines. If your pharmacy supplies human medicines to equines via the cascade system you and your pharmacy must register with the National Veterinary Prescription System (NVPS).
Otherwise, in the future, you will not be able to supply prescription only human medicines to equines as these prescriptions will only be available through the NVPS.
