The National Immunisation Office (NIO) has published Immunisation Bulletin 65. This bulletin provides an update regarding:
- COVID-19 vaccination during the summer months, July – September (see also: Chapter 5a of NIAC Immunisation Guidelines for Ireland);
- Reminder of the latest NIAC intervals for the COVID-19 Primary Vaccination Schedule;
- Importance of MMR vaccine – new resources to support the Traveller Community which includes a poster and videos from a Traveller Primary Health Care Worker and a Consultant in Public Health Medicine;
- The Laura Brennan HPV Vaccine Catch-up Programme (note: this programme is not available through community pharmacies);
- Vaccine Intervals (see also: Chapter 2 of NIAC Immunisation Guidance for Ireland);
- Preparing vaccines for administration in the Primary Immunisation Schedule; and
- A national survey of parents’ views on childhood vaccinations in Ireland.
