The HSE provides for a free inactivated Quadrivalent Influenza Vaccine (QIV) to administered to all at-risk individuals aged 6-23 months and 18-64 years and all patients aged 65 years and older.
The HSE will reimburse pharmacists:
- €15 for each QIV administered to individuals from this cohort; and
- €100 for every 10 unique individuals to whom the vaccination is administered.
The HSE also provides for a free Live Attenuated Influenza Vaccine (LAIV) for all patients ages 2-17 years.
The HSE will reimburse pharmacists:
- €20 for each LAIV administered to individuals from this cohort; and
- €150 for every 10 unique individuals to whom the LAIV is administered.
