HIQA has launched a public consultation regarding its draft health technology assessment (HTA) on the use of an enhanced inactivated influenza vaccine for those aged 65 years and older in the Seasonal Influenza Vaccination Programme.
Following the public consultation, the report will be updated as necessary and a finalised report will be submitted as advice to the Minister for Health and published on the HIQA website.
The draft HTA and details of how to participate in the public consultation can be accessed at this link. The IPU intends to provide feedback on this draft HTA to HIQA and individual members may also do so. Feedback can be submitted online here.
The consultation will remain open until 5pm on Thursday, 11 July 2024.
