Hepatitis C Testing

28 July 2023 was World Hepatitis Day. As the HSE steps up its bids to eliminate this deadly disease they are urging members of the public aged 18 and older who live in Ireland, and who think they may be at risk of Hepatitis C, to order their free Hepatitis C test from the HSE website. The discreet, confidential, at-home free testing kit is part of the HSE’s Hepatitis C Treatment Programme. This programme has already treated over 7,000 people, 95 per cent of whom are now cured.
