We want to remind you that the list of administrative codes for Exempt Medicinal Products (EMPs) has been updated, resulting in some products losing their codes. For detailed information, please refer to Circular 12/23, as administrative codes are not included in the PCRS reimbursement list, they are not therefore, searchable in the PCRS search tool.
We are cognisant of the potential difficulties in procuring an EMP from the suggested suppliers at the PCRS reimbursement price. In such situations, you may claim for GMS patients under the Hardship Arrangement and DPS under the appropriate 777- code. PCRS should be contacted prior to claiming to ensure you receive full reimbursement confirmation for the incurred costs.
