EuCan Research Project – TCD

EuCan Research Project – TCD

The EuCan Research Project is being carried out at the Trinity Centre of Ageing and Intellectual Disability at Trinity College Dublin.

The study, which is funded by the Irish Cancer Society, aims to generate evidence relating to the barriers to, and enablers of timely access to cancer diagnosis, treatment, and care for underserved communities. The project is specifically looking at the needs and experience of those over the age of 65, and those with a physical or intellectual disability. The study also aims to investigate cancer service provision amongst these individuals, and they are recruiting pharmacists with experience in this area.

If you would like to join them for a focus group to talk about the barriers and enablers of timely access to cancer services for members of underserved communities, please contact Shauna Walsh at walshs89@tcd.ie.
