As the 2022/2023 influenza season ended on 30 April 2023, you should now return all flu vaccines (whether expired or still in date) to the National Cold Chain Service (NCCS). Vaccines should be placed in a box with a completed vaccine return form and left in a secure and convenient location for handing to the NCCS van driver when they next deliver vaccines to your pharmacy. If you are not expecting a further delivery of vaccines at this time you can contact NCCS at vaccines@udd.ie to arrange an uplift of the vaccines.
If you are experiencing any delays/challenges with the returns being collected, please email vaccines@udd.ie outlining your issue and cold chain account number and they will assist you.
