The only available batch of nasal flu vaccine (LAIV) expires on 23 January 2023. Doses are still available from the National Cold Chain Service (NCCS) if you have a scheduled delivery.
Expired vaccines should be returned to the NCCS at your next delivery. Please complete the vaccine return form and include it in the box containing expired vaccines prior to returning to the NCCS delivery person.
The HSE has announced that a number of community vaccination centres across the country are now offering walk-in flu vaccination clinics for all children aged 2-17 to have the nasal flu vaccine administered prior to 23 January. No appointment is necessary. The full schedule of clinics is available on www.hse.ie.
