Consumables for Provision of a COVID-19 Vaccination Service

We wish to remind members that only pharmacies participating in the Covid-19 vaccination programme are entitled to receive consumables (including yellow bins) free of charge from the HSE.

Stericycle collect and JMC logistics provide the consumables, aligned to the vaccine delivery as set out in the operation guidance. For regular clinical waste, including Flu vaccine consumables (sharps containers, adrenalin vials, waste bins), the procedure of purchasing from wholesaler remains in place.
