This course has been designed to allow pharmacists to complement their clinical skills with the knowledge and skills to understand the financial aspects of the pharmacy business.
It will equip the learners with an understanding of general and dispensary finance and help them understand how they and their dispensary teams directly affect cash flow and profitability each month.
The course is spaced 4 weeks apart to give the pharmacist the opportunity to work through a financial end of month and claim cycle and return with a better understanding of challenges they face.
The course covers:
- Introduction to Finance;
- Dispensary Finances;
- Managing and Improving Cashflow and Profitability; and
- Purchasing.
