Batch Recall: Pinadone 1mg/ml Oral Solution

The HPRA has issued a pharmacy level recall for a specific batch of Pinadone 1mg/ml Oral Solution, PA281/61/1.  The batch number affected is I58691, expiry 11.2025.

Pharmacists are requested to please perform the following actions:

1. If you have not already done so, check for units of this batch at your pharmacy and quarantine any units of this batch which you have in your possession.
2. Return all units of the batch to Pinewood Healthcare. Please email CustomerServicem50@pinewood.ie to organise the return of the units. 
3. If you have supplied this batch to any other clinic, ward, or facility, immediately forward a copy of the recall letter to them, requesting that they quarantine and return any units of this batch to you.
