We have been made aware that a group that are anti vaccination have been targeting pharmacies. For instance, pharmacies in Cork city were targeted by a particular group in recent weeks. The aim of these individuals seems to be to antagonise the pharmacy staff and to record their reaction in videos which they then upload and distribute on social media. Their modus operandi therefore is to provoke a response and some members have indicated that when pharmacy staff did not react these individuals left the premises. Our strong advice is not to engage with these individuals and to advise your pharmacy staff to do likewise. You can also ask them to leave the premises and/or call Gardai where necessary.
