In response to our demand for a critical review of the administrative burden on community pharmacies, the HSE’s National Director for Services and Schemes promptly arranged a meeting on Tuesday 27 August. Progress was made during this meeting, with key commitments secured to develop a comprehensive Terms of Reference and a detailed milestone plan to address the identified challenges.
This is a step forward, and we remain committed to advocating for meaningful changes that will enhance the efficient and effective operation of community pharmacies. This action directly follows the commitment made by the Minister for Health at our National Conference. We will continue to push for effective solutions and keep you informed of further developments.
