Delivery of this year’s seasonal flu vaccines will commence on Monday 19 September for pharmacies registered with the National Cold Chain Service (NCCS). Pharmacies will be able to order stock from Monday 12 September. All sites that order stock will receive delivery of vaccines with their routine delivery as per the online calendar. Your allocation is based on the quantity of stock your pharmacy ordered last year minus the stock that you returned.
If you did not run a seasonal flu vaccination service previously you will need to log in to your Cold Chain account and place an electronic order. When you place this order you will receive communication on screen requesting that you email your order to vaccines@udd.ie. Your order will then be passed to the NIO team who will subsequently phone the pharmacy to discuss your pharmacy’s allocation. Your order by date and order delivery date are as outlined in your calendar.
