Oversees the Professional Services unit whose role is to provide advice and support to members on professional issues, practice queries and pharmacy and medicines legislation, as well as advocating for the greater utilisation of the skill set of community pharmacists and the advancement of pharmacy practice and they liaise with a wide range of stakeholders in relation to community pharmacy services. She also oversees the development of IPU Academy educational Programmes.

Ciaran Mulligan

Ciaran Mulligan commenced the role of interim contracts manager on 2 September and will remain in an interim capacity until such time that a Secretary General has been appointed and has had an opportunity to review the internal staff resources and job profiles. Ciaran currently works as a pharmacist in the organisation with responsibility for eHealth and Pharmacy Systems. Previously, he was also a member of the ITSG for 10 years and part of the Pharmacy Interface Project, ePrescribing Workshops and other initiatives. He has extensive experience as a pharmacy contractor having owned a pharmacy for 18 years and aims to bring this wealth of knowledge to his new role.
