Vaccination of 12-15 year olds

The HSE has announced that registration for COVID-19 vaccination for 12-15 year olds with parental consent will open tomorrow, Thursday 12 August. As such, this age cohort will also be eligible to be vaccinated in a participating pharmacy. The Operational Guidance has been updated to cover parent/guardian consent and patient assent for 12-15 year olds. The updated guidance is available here, and information on vaccination of 12-15 year olds including obtaining consent is available here. The HSE has advised us that information leaflets for the public and hard copy consent forms will be distributed to pharmacies this week.
