Upcoming IPU Regional Meetings (including tonight in Cork)

The IPU’s series of regional meetings continue with tonight’s meeting in Cork (see details below).

In less than two weeks from now, we will host meetings in Dublin (8 November), Mayo (9 November) and Donegal (10 November). The eight regional meetings are spread out over four weeks.

These meetings provide an opportunity to feedback your experience of community pharmacy and to hear about the work of the IPU team. It is also a chance to meet your regional colleagues – something we have not done face to face in three years.

Tonight’s Southern Regional Meeting takes place in the Castle Hotel, Macroom, Co. Cork at 8pm.

The details of upcoming meetings are as follows:

• Dublin Annual Regional Meeting: Clayton Hotel, Fonthill Road, Liffey Valley, Dublin 22 at 8pm on Tuesday 8 November
• Western Annual Regional Meeting: McWilliam Park Hotel, Claremorris, Co. Mayo at 8pm on Wednesday 9 November
• North Western Annual Regional Meeting: The Central Hotel, The Diamond, Donegal Town, Co. Donegal at 8pm on Thursday 10 November

The Agenda for each meeting is as follows:

• 30pm– Registration/Tea & Coffee/Networking
• 00pm– Order of Business & Apologies
• 15pm – Members’ briefing on the work of IPU to support you our members, and how you can work locally to further pharmacy in your area.
• 45 pm – Open forum to hear members views, questions and concerns
• 00pm– Meeting closes
