Shingles Vaccination Programme

The NIO updated Chapter 23 Varicella-Zoster on 21 October 2022.

The update includes recommendations for the use of the Shingrix® vaccine and post-exposure prophylaxis.

We have updated the SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for the provision of shingles vaccination services in community pharmacies and the patient consent form. The following updated documents are available on the IPU Shingles Vaccination Hub:
