Pharmacy in the Media

There was an extensive article on menopause in The Irish Times, featuring a contribution from Kathy Maher who called for pharmacists to be able to dispense equivalent HRT products in the event of HRT shortages. Following on from an IPU press release to mark World Menopause Day, Kathy also featured on the Newstalk news bulletin where she outlined the support available in pharmacies to patients experiencing symptoms of menopause. The clip featuring Kathy was also picked up by numerous local radio stations for their news bulletins.

The upcoming IPU Regional Meetings have received publicity in an array of local newspapers following the release of localised press releases to promote the meetings. An example of this cverage can be found on the Ireland Live website.
