End of the 2021/22 Influenza (flu) Campaign

The 2021/2022 influenza season ended on 30 April 2022 as per the direction of the HSE National Flu Steering Group. This means that there will be no further supplies from the National Cold Chain Service (NCCS). Therefore, you will need to return all seasonal flu vaccines that you may still hold in your pharmaceutical-grade fridge to the NCCS. Complete the vaccine return form and provide it with the seasonal flu vaccines, along with any other expired cold chain vaccines to the van driver. As the 2021/22 influenza season has finished, PCRS will not reimburse any seasonal flu vaccinations administered until the 2022/23 influenza season commences in Autumn 2022.
