COVID-19 Vaccination Programme

Chapter 5a of the NIAC guidelines were updated on the 28 October 2022. The key changes relate to the precautions and contraindications for the COVID-19 bivalent adapted booster vaccines, which are outlined in table 5a.4.

We have updated the corresponding SOPs. These SOPs are available on the IPU Adapted COVID-19 Vaccines hub:

  • Comirnaty® Original/Omicron BA.1 (15/15 micrograms)/dose dispersion for injection and Comirnaty® Original/Omicron BA.4-BA.5 (15/15 micrograms)/dose dispersion for injection Standard Operating Procedure template;
  • Spikevax® bivalent Original/Omicron BA.1 (50 micrograms/50 micrograms)/ml dispersion for injection Standard Operating Procedure template.
