Professional Services Pharmacist

 

We are restructuring our professional services team and are looking for dynamic, highly motivated pharmacists who are team players, have a track record of delivery and leadership and work well in a fast-paced environment to support the strategic agenda and professional activities of the IPU and our members. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a small, dynamic team, which has a strong focus on supporting community pharmacy.

Job Description

Job Title: Professional Services Pharmacist
Reporting to: Head of Professional Services
Term of Contract: Permanent (3-5 days contracts considered for the right candidate)
Location of Post: IPU Office, Butterfield House, Butterfield Avenue, Rathfarnham, Dublin

  • Current curriculum vitae/resumé which should include: full name, address, telephone number and email address;
  • Name, position, and telephone/email contact details of three referees along with details of their professional relationship to the candidate;
  • Details of education, professional training and qualifications;
  • Employment history, including present position.

 

Applications should be sent to careers@ipu.ie. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a formal competency-based interview at our office in Rathfarnham. This may take place in person or by way of via video conference. You will also be asked to produce a written submission on the role of the IPU in the future development of community pharmacy services in Ireland and to give a short presentation (15 mins) on this.
