IPU Pharmacy Technician's Course
Pharmacy Staff! Get a recognised qualification in pharmacy skills
This is a two year programme for new dispensing staff, part-time dispensing staff and medicines counter assistants.
The Pharmacy Technician is a key member of the pharmacy staff, assisting the pharmacist in the preparation, checking, storage and the dispensing of drugs. This course prepares pharmacy technicians to support pharmacists in ensuring the delivery of a high quality pharmacy service.
The IPU Pharmacy Technician’s Course is distance learning, modular format with continual assessment over two years.
On successful completion students will receive the NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy Services Certificate from the awarding body (City and Guilds). Year 1 commences in September and Year 2 commences each January.
The cost of Year 1 is €2,050 for non-members (€1,650 for IPU Members) per participant. Please make cheques payable to IPU Services Ltd.
